PUBLIC REC - “Comfort Rules Campaign”
I was hired to write on Public Rec’s, “Comfort Rules,” campaign. They wanted to highlight the laid back, relaxed vibes of the clothing, while leaning into the comedy of guys just being guys. The campaign was a huge success and got millions of views online, as well as on linear TV. I even got to act in a few of the spots too, alongside some other hilarious comedians!
Comfort Rules: ”Woods”
Some guy’s just don’t respect the concept of personal space. We had fun creating, RULES,” for each spot, adding in additional comedy and branding. No shirts were harmed in the filming of this commercial.
Comfort Rules: “Roasted”
A big part of guys being guys, is roasting your closest friends. The goal of this spot was to mine the good-natured shit talking, you find during good ole fashioned bro-time. Oh, and the Kielbasas were real and they were spectacular!
Public Rec: “Poor Sport”
Some guys take sports way too seriously. Relax bro, it’s just tennis, and you’re in your 40’s! The brand wanted this one to have some edge. If it was pickleball, someone might have gotten punched in the mouth.
